❓ Common Questions

Can it run my RV?

Yes, within 3,000W. Plug a 30A RV cord into the TT-30R outlet. Running an RV air conditioner drains it quickly, so plan on an XP or solar for longer trips.

Is it safe to use indoors?

Yes. It's silent and has no fumes or emissions, unlike a gas generator.

Can I expand it?

Yes. The Safari XP adds 2,688 Wh for 4,300 Wh total. Lion also sells a bundle with two XPs (6,988 Wh).

What solar panels work with it?

Up to 600W total, with Vmp above 36V and Voc under 60V. Lion's 100W 24V lightweight panels work, up to 6.

Is this the same as the Safari ME?

No. This is Lion's current 3,000W Safari with a built-in 30A RV outlet. The Safari XP works with this model, not the Safari ME.

What's the warranty?

5 years from Lion Energy for the original purchaser, covering factory defects.
