Return & Refund Policy

At Homestead Supply Online LLC, we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If you are not happy with your order, we offer a straightforward return and refund process.

1. RETURN WINDOW

All returns must be postmarked within thirty (30) days from the date of delivery.

2. RETURN CONDITIONS

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in new and unused condition, with all original tags and labels attached, and in its original packaging. Items that show signs of use, installation, or wear will not be accepted.

3. RETURN PROCESS

To initiate a return, please follow these steps:

  • Email customer service at info@homesteadsupplyonline.com to obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number.
  • Place the item securely in its original packaging and include your RMA number.
  • Note: Do not ship items to our corporate office in Goose Creek, SC; we cannot accept returns at that location. We will provide the specific return warehouse address with your RMA.

4. RETURN SHIPPING COSTS

  • For Buyer’s Remorse: For returns related to a change of mind or ordering the wrong size/item, the customer is responsible for all return shipping charges. We strongly recommend using a trackable shipping method.
  • For Damaged or Defective Items: If an item arrives damaged or defective, please contact us immediately. We will provide a prepaid shipping label at no cost to you and arrange for a full refund or replacement.

5. REFUNDS

After receiving your return and inspecting the condition of your item, we will process your return.

  • Processing Time: Please allow at least seven (7) days from the receipt of your item for us to process the return.
  • Refund Method: All refunds will be issued to the original payment method.
  • Refund Amount: For buyer's remorse returns, the original shipping cost incurred by Homestead Supply Online LLC to ship the order will be deducted from your total refund.
  • Timing: Once processed, refunds typically appear on your statement within 5-10 business days. We will notify you by email once your return has been processed.

6. EXCHANGES

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange an item for the same product, please contact us at info@homesteadsupplyonline.com.

7. RESTOCKING AND PROCESSING FEES

  • Standard Returns: We do not charge a restocking fee for items returned within 30 days in their original condition.
  • Refused or Undeliverable Shipments: If a shipment is refused by the customer upon delivery, or if a package is returned to us due to an incorrect or undeliverable address provided at checkout, a 15% processing fee will be deducted from the refund. The customer is also responsible for all actual shipping and freight charges for both the outbound and return transit.
  • Cancellations: Orders cannot be canceled once they have entered the shipping process. If a cancellation is requested after shipment, it will be treated as a refused shipment and subject to the 15% fee.

8. NON-RETURNABLE ITEMS & SERVICE LIMITATIONS

  • Non-Stock Items: Products classified as non-stock or special-order items are final sale and may not be returned.
  • Media & Cartography: Opened and/or unsealed DVDs, CDs, and cartography/mapping data cards are not returnable unless they are defective.
  • Service & Technical Warranty: Units requiring technical service—whether covered under warranty or otherwise—should be returned directly to the appropriate manufacturer for specialized support.
