The Victron Energy SmartSolar MPPT RS 450/100-MC4 is a 100 A MPPT solar charge controller for large 48 V battery systems, off-grid solar installations, energy storage systems (ESS) and commercial renewable energy applications. Ultra-fast Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT), dual independent MPPT inputs, Bluetooth, VE.Can networking and an integrated display help maximize solar harvest while charging your batteries efficiently.

Dual Independent MPPT Trackers

Two independent trackers optimize energy production from two separate solar arrays. Ultra-fast MPPT maximizes harvest through changing weather and lighting conditions.

High-Voltage PV Input: 65-450V DC

The wide 65-450 V DC PV input range supports high-voltage, series-connected solar arrays for greater installation flexibility. PV connectors are MC4, and the PV connections are isolated.

Charges Lithium and Lead-Acid Batteries

Programmable charging profiles support lithium, AGM, GEL and flooded lead-acid batteries, plus custom charging parameters. Remote voltage and temperature sensing improves charging accuracy. The controller is compatible with the Victron smallBMS and with battery management systems that use allow-to-charge signals.

Integrated Display and Bluetooth

The integrated LCD display shows battery voltage, charging current, PV voltage, system status and diagnostic information directly on the controller. Built-in Bluetooth Smart lets you configure, monitor and update the controller wirelessly with the VictronConnect app.

VE.Can, VE.Direct and Remote Monitoring
