Victron Energy Quattro 12V 5000W Inverter/Charger – 200A Charger, 50A Transfer Switch

The Victron Energy Quattro 12V 5000W is an inverter/charger with a 200 A battery charger and a 50 A transfer switch. It connects to two independent AC sources, such as shore power and a generator, or two generators, and switches automatically to the active source. If you lose grid, shore or generator power, the Quattro takes over the connected loads.

Two AC Inputs and Two AC Outputs

The main output has no-break functionality. When the AC source fails or is disconnected, the Quattro takes over the supply in less than 20 milliseconds, so computers and other electronic equipment keep operating without disruption. The second output is live only when AC is available on one of the inputs, so it suits loads that should not discharge the battery, such as air conditioning or a water heater.

PowerAssist Prevents Overload of Limited AC Sources

PowerAssist protects a limited AC source, such as a generator or shore power connection, from overload. First, battery charging is automatically reduced when an overload would otherwise occur. At the second level, the Quattro boosts the output of the generator or shore supply with power taken from the battery.

Parallel Operation for More Power

Up to 6 units can operate in parallel to reach higher power output. Three-phase and split-phase operation are also possible. Check the datasheet to see which models support paralleling, three-phase and split-phase configurations.

Remote Monitoring and Control

Monitor and control your system locally (LAN) or remotely over the internet from anywhere in the world, using the free VRM app and the free VRM portal website on a phone, tablet, laptop or PC. Control options range from adjusting the inverter/charger settings to setting a geofence for hire vehicles. A Color Control GX or Venus GX is required.
