The Victron Energy MultiPlus-II 48V 3000VA 120V UL458 Approved Inverter Charger (Model 48/3000 35-50 120V, MPN PMP482305102) combines a pure sine wave inverter, a 35A battery charger, a 50A transfer switch, and an energy management system in one compact unit. Built for 48V battery systems, off-grid solar, RV, marine, backup power, and energy storage applications, this UL458 approved inverter charger delivers reliable 120VAC power with intelligent charging and load management for North American installations.
The MultiPlus-II provides 3000VA of inverter capacity with 2400W continuous output, 5500W peak power, and up to 95% efficiency. Stable 120VAC output with tight voltage and frequency regulation keeps sensitive electronics and demanding loads running smoothly.
PowerControl prevents generator, shore power, or grid overload by automatically managing available AC power. When demand peaks, PowerAssist supplements the AC source with energy from the battery bank for seamless support.
During a grid outage, shore power interruption, or generator failure, the MultiPlus-II switches to inverter mode in less than 20 milliseconds. Computers, communication equipment, and critical loads keep operating without disruption.
The MultiPlus-II is a key component of Victron ESS systems, integrating with solar charge controllers, grid-tie solar inverters, and GX monitoring devices for intelligent energy management in residential, commercial, mobile, and off-grid applications.
