Victron Energy Lithium NG 25.6V/300Ah (BAT524130620): a 25.6V 300Ah LiFePO4 system battery with 7,680 Wh of energy, an integrated shunt and cell monitoring, designed to run under a Victron NG BMS. Lithium NG batteries are the building blocks of larger Victron systems. Each battery monitors its own cells and temperature and sends voltage, current and temperature data to a Victron NG BMS, which controls charging and loads and shows state of charge over Bluetooth. It delivers 300 A continuous (600 A for 10 seconds), can be wired up to 2 in series, and scales to large banks in parallel. A Victron NG BMS is required and sold separately. Backed by Victron's 3-year lithium battery warranty.

  • You'll use a Victron NG BMS: Lynx Smart BMS 500/1000 NG, smallBMS NG or VE.Bus BMS NG. It won't work with the older Lynx Smart BMS, VE.Bus BMS V2 or smallBMS, and the warranty requires an NG BMS.
  • Your system is 24V, or you'll wire 2 in series for 48V. Up to 50 batteries per BMS.
  • Your charge sources can be set to 28.0–28.4 V charge and 27.0 V float, or controlled by the BMS through DVCC on a GX device.
  • You'll charge between +5 and +50Β°C. The BMS stops charging below 5Β°C, and this battery has no heater.
  • Plan for fusing, cabling and the BMS (not included). Mount indoors in a dry place, upright or on its side.
  • Need UL? Victron's UL 2054 certificate doesn't cover the 300Ah model, and its cell certifications are listed as pending. Call us if your inspector needs specific paperwork.

The warranty doesn't cover physical damage, reverse polarity, poor connections, liquid or condensation, lightning, improper installation, disassembly or modification. Which BMS do I need?
A Victron NG BMS: the Lynx Smart BMS 500 NG or 1000 NG for most systems, the smallBMS NG for small systems without an inverter/charger, or the VE.Bus BMS NG with a VE.Bus inverter/charger.
Will it work with the Lynx Smart BMS (non-NG) or VE.Bus BMS V2?
No. NG batteries need an NG BMS, and Victron says NG and non-NG batteries and BMSes can't be mixed. Using it without an approved NG BMS voids the warranty.
Does the battery have Bluetooth?
Not by itself. The NG BMS has Bluetooth and shows state of charge, cell voltages and temperatures in VictronConnect; add a GX device for VRM remote monitoring.
Can I wire them in series?
Yes, up to 2 in series per string (48V), and up to 50 batteries per BMS in total.
Can it charge below freezing?
No. The BMS disables charging below 5Β°C, and this battery has no built-in heater. For cold-weather charging, look at the self-heating Lithium SuperPack NG.
Is it UL listed?
Victron's UL 2054 certificate covers the 100Ah and 200Ah NG batteries, not this 300Ah model, and its cell certifications are listed as pending. Call us if you need specific paperwork.
How does the warranty work?
Victron covers lithium batteries for 3 years from the original end user's purchase date, with proof of correct use and an approved NG BMS. Warranty claims go through the place of purchase, so contact us and we'll handle it with Victron.
