A matched RUiXU off-grid power system in one order. Pair the SUNON12 12kW off-grid inverter with one, two or three Lithi2-16 16kWh batteries. RUiXU lists the SUNON12 as compatible with the Lithi2-16, so the inverter and batteries communicate over CAN once set up per RUiXU's manual.

📏 Choosing your battery count:

A single Lithi2-16 is rated for 200A, or roughly 10kW at 48V. To use the SUNON12's full 12kW output, choose 2 or more batteries.
The SUNON12 is an off-grid inverter. It can charge from the grid or a generator, but it doesn't export power to the utility. For grid-tied backup, see our RX-12K + Lithi2-16 system.
The SUNON12 is rated IP20, indoor only. The Lithi2-16 batteries are outdoor-ready.
Keep each solar string under 500V open-circuit in your coldest weather.

❓ Common Questions

Should I get 1, 2 or 3 batteries?

One battery covers smaller loads and backup. Two or more let you use the SUNON12's full 12kW output and give you more runtime between charges. Call us with your loads and we'll help you size it.

Can I sell power back to the grid?

No. The SUNON12 is an off-grid inverter. It can use grid or generator power to charge your batteries, but it doesn't export. For grid-tied backup, look at our RX-12K + Lithi2-16 system.

Can I add more batteries or inverters later?

Yes. RUiXU supports up to 32 Lithi2-16 batteries in parallel and up to 6 SUNON12 inverters for 72kW of output.

How is it delivered?

By freight from RUiXU's California warehouse. Residential and liftgate delivery may add a fee, and we'll confirm the details before shipping.
