RUiXU SUNON3.6 48V 3.6kW off-grid solar inverter: a 120V pure sine wave inverter with a built-in 4,500 W MPPT solar charger, an 80 A battery charger and 40 A grid or generator pass-through, all in one compact unit. It runs 120V loads up to 3,600 W with a 7,200 VA peak for motor starts, charges your 48V battery from solar, grid or a generator, and switches to battery in about 10 ms if shore or grid power drops. Add up to six units in parallel for 120/240V split-phase or three-phase power. It works with lithium, LiFePO4 and lead-acid batteries, and RUiXU includes a Wi-Fi dongle for monitoring. Backed by RUiXU's 3-year warranty.

⚑ Is It Right for Your System?

Built for 48V off-grid and backup systems running 120V loads. Common uses:

  • Off-grid cabins
  • Sheds & workshops
  • Backup power
  • RVs & tiny homes
  • Small solar systems
πŸ“ Quick check before you order:
  • Your battery bank is 48V (40–60V). It works with LiFePO4, other lithium and lead-acid batteries.
  • Your loads are 120V and stay within 3,600 W. For 240V loads, pair two units or choose the SUNON7.2.
  • Your solar string stays under 300V open-circuit in cold weather, with an MPPT range of 90–260V and up to 27 A.
  • It's an off-grid inverter: it charges from and passes through grid or generator power (40 A), but it doesn't sell power back to the grid.
  • You'll install it indoors (IP20), with clearance for the fan.
  • Closed-loop battery communication: RUiXU's manual lists protocols for Pylontech, Pace, Voltronic and other brands, not RUiXU batteries by name. Ask us before you count on closed-loop with a specific battery.
  • Need UL? RUiXU's spec sheet lists UL 1741, but RUiXU doesn't post a certificate for this model. Check with your inspector first.
Not sure? Tell us your loads, battery and solar array, and we'll confirm the right inverter before you buy.

❓ Common Questions

Can it power 240V loads?
Not on its own. One SUNON3.6 outputs 120V. Pair two units for 120/240V split-phase, or choose the SUNON7.2, which is split-phase in a single unit.
Can it sell power back to the grid?
No. It's an off-grid inverter. It can charge from and pass through grid or generator power, but it doesn't export to the grid.
Will it talk to my lithium battery?
RUiXU's manual lists closed-loop protocols for Pylontech, Pace, Gotion, Voltronic and other brands. RUiXU batteries aren't named, so ask us before you plan on closed-loop. It can also run on voltage-based settings.
How big a solar array can I connect?
Up to 4,500 W on one MPPT, with an open-circuit voltage under 300V (cold-corrected) and up to 27 A.
Is it UL listed?
RUiXU's spec sheet lists UL 1741, but RUiXU doesn't post a certificate for the SUNON3.6. Check with your inspector before you buy.
How does the warranty work?
RUiXU's spec sheet lists 3 years. Warranty claims go through the place of purchase, so contact us and we'll handle it with RUiXU.
