Epoch exact-fit battery tray for the Epoch 12V 460Ah heated (12460A-H) and 24V 230Ah heated (24230A-H) Essentials batteries. These big 5.89kWh batteries weigh about 84 lb, so they need to be held down in an RV, van or boat. The low-profile tray bolts to a solid floor or shelf, and two tie-down straps keep the battery planted while leaving the terminals easy to reach.

📏 Fit check:

Fits the Epoch 12V 460Ah heated (12460A-H) and 24V 230Ah heated (24230A-H).
Have a V2 or V2-T Elite battery? Those use Epoch's 8D mounting hardware instead.
For flat, upright mounting on a floor, shelf or deck.

Why Use a Tray

🔌

Protects Your Wiring

A shifting battery strains cables, busbars and terminals. The tray and straps keep it seated.

📏

Low Profile

Takes far less height than an enclosed battery box, which matters under beds and benches.

🔧

Open Access

Terminals stay easy to inspect and service, with airflow around the case.

You may still need screws, through-bolts or backing washers to suit your floor or deck. On boats, batteries must be secured so they can't move more than an inch, so fasten the tray to a solid surface.

❓ Common Questions

Does it fit the 12V 460Ah V2 Elite?

No. The V2 and V2-T Elite batteries use Epoch's 8D mounting hardware.

Do I need a full battery box instead?

For most lithium house batteries, a tray is preferred: it saves space and keeps terminals accessible. Some installers or local codes may still require a box.
