Epoch 12V-to-36V Marine DC-DC Charger: recharge your 36V trolling-motor battery while the outboard runs. It draws from your 12V or 24V starter-battery system and delivers a regulated 36V/10A charge. It starts when the engine raises the starter voltage and stops when it drops, so your starting battery keeps its reserve.

📏 Quick check before you order:

Your starter system is 12V or 24V, and you have one 36V trolling-motor battery.
Your outboard's alternator has spare capacity: 36V at 10A is about 360W, which pulls a lot of current from a 12V system.
It's non-isolated, so follow Epoch's wiring diagram exactly, with proper fusing and grounding.

❓ Common Questions

Will it drain my starting battery?

It stops charging when starter voltage drops below the cutoff and hibernates after about 20 idle minutes. A healthy starting battery and properly sized alternator are still required.

Can it charge three 12V batteries in series?

Epoch publishes it for one 36V battery. For a three-battery string, follow your battery maker's balancing instructions, or use the Epoch 4-bank charger at the dock.

Does it replace my AC charger?

No. Keep an AC onboard charger for full recharges at the dock.
