Davis Instruments Vantage Pro2 Plus Wireless Weather Station WeatherLink Console UV Solar Sensors 6262

Davis Instruments Vantage Pro2 Plus Wireless Weather Station with WeatherLink Console, UV & Solar Radiation Sensors – 6262

The Davis Instruments Vantage Pro2 Plus Wireless Weather Station is a professional-grade home and environmental weather monitoring system featuring a complete outdoor sensor suite, UV sensor, solar radiation sensor and WeatherLink Console. Designed for accurate hyperlocal weather monitoring, the Vantage Pro2 Plus measures temperature, humidity, wind speed, wind direction, rainfall, UV and solar radiation with real-time updates as frequently as every 2.5 seconds.

With a wireless transmission range of up to 1,000 ft. (300 m), solar-powered outdoor sensor suite and HD touchscreen WeatherLink Console, this system is ideal for farms, homesteads, homes, gardens, weather enthusiasts, schools, research applications and other locations requiring detailed local weather information.

Complete Vantage Pro2 Plus weather monitoring

The outdoor sensor suite provides comprehensive environmental monitoring in one rugged, weather-resistant system. Measurements include outside temperature, humidity, wind speed, wind direction and rainfall, while the included UV and solar radiation sensors expand the station's capabilities for advanced weather and environmental analysis.

The system delivers rapid weather updates every 2.5 seconds, allowing users to monitor changing local conditions with exceptional detail.

WeatherLink Console with HD touchscreen

The included Davis WeatherLink Console provides a vibrant HD color touchscreen for viewing, analyzing and storing weather information. The customizable dashboard can display up to 21 weather parameters, allowing users to prioritize the environmental information most important to them.

The console provides access to stored historical records for creating custom graphs and analyzing weather trends. Users can also configure notifications based on hundreds of available parameters and multiple alert sounds.

Wi-Fi and WeatherLink Cloud connectivity

The WeatherLink Console functions as a complete weather display, storage and analysis system without requiring Wi-Fi. When connected to Wi-Fi, weather information can also be uploaded to the WeatherLink Cloud for additional access and sharing capabilities.

Up to 1,000-foot wireless transmission

The Vantage Pro2 Plus offers an industry-leading wireless transmission range of up to 1,000 ft. (300 m) between the outdoor sensor suite and console, providing greater flexibility when positioning sensors around large properties, farms and homesteads.

Flexible anemometer installation

The anemometer measures wind speed and wind direction and can be positioned up to 40 ft. (12 m) away from the remainder of the sensor suite. This allows more flexible siting so the wind sensor can be positioned where surrounding structures and obstacles have less impact on measurements.

Passive radiation shield

A standard passive radiation shield protects the outdoor temperature sensor from direct solar radiation and other radiant or reflected heat sources that could affect air-temperature measurements.

Its multi-plate construction promotes airflow around the sensor while helping isolate it from unwanted radiant heat.

UV radiation monitoring

The included UV sensor measures the sunburning portion of the ultraviolet spectrum and monitors global solar UV irradiance, including directly transmitted and atmospheric scattered UV radiation.

The system can report UV index, UV dose rate and daily and accumulated UV dose, providing detailed information about local ultraviolet exposure.

Solar radiation sensor

The included solar radiation sensor measures incoming solar radiation and supports advanced weather calculations such as evapotranspiration (ET) and the Temperature/Humidity/Sun/Wind (THSW) Index.

A silicon photodiode provides a response matched to the solar spectrum, while the diffuser and sensor housing are designed to provide accurate cosine response.

Solar-powered outdoor sensor suite

The outdoor sensor suite is solar powered with battery backup for reliable continuous weather monitoring. The WeatherLink Console operates from AC power and also includes battery backup capability.
