Davis Instruments 6345CS Wireless Soil Moisture Temperature Station with 4 Sensors & 4 Probes

Davis Instruments 6345CS Complete Wireless Soil Moisture/Temperature Station with Sensors

The Davis Instruments 6345CS Complete Wireless Soil Moisture/Temperature Station is a solar-powered environmental monitoring station designed to measure soil moisture and soil temperature for agriculture, gardening, irrigation management, research and environmental monitoring applications. The complete system includes four soil moisture sensors and four temperature probes, along with a wireless transmitter, battery and weather-resistant shelter.

Designed to integrate with compatible Davis Instruments weather monitoring equipment, the 6345CS wirelessly transmits soil conditions for convenient monitoring through a compatible Vantage Pro2 console/receiver, Weather Envoy or WeatherLink system.

Complete soil moisture and temperature monitoring station

The 6345CS provides the essential components needed to monitor soil conditions at multiple locations or depths. Four included soil moisture sensors measure moisture conditions, while four temperature probes provide corresponding temperature information.

This multi-sensor configuration is particularly useful for monitoring irrigation zones, root-zone conditions, gardens, farms, greenhouses and research plots.

Four soil moisture sensors included

The station includes four soil moisture sensors, allowing users to track moisture conditions across multiple monitoring points. The sensors can help provide valuable information for irrigation scheduling, crop management, landscaping and water-conservation applications.

Four temperature probes included

Four included temperature probes allow temperature conditions to be monitored alongside soil moisture. Tracking both variables provides a more complete view of soil and growing conditions.

Solar-powered wireless operation

The station uses solar power and includes a battery for dependable field operation. Its wireless transmitter sends sensor information to compatible Davis Instruments receiving equipment, reducing the need to run communication wiring between the monitoring location and display or data system.

Weather-resistant transmitter shelter

The transmitter and battery are housed inside a weather-resistant shelter designed for outdoor installation. This makes the system suitable for long-term environmental monitoring in gardens, agricultural fields, landscaping projects and other outdoor locations.

Expandable with leaf wetness sensors

The 6345CS can be expanded with up to two compatible leaf wetness sensors, sold separately. Adding leaf wetness monitoring allows users to create a more comprehensive environmental monitoring station for agricultural, horticultural and research applications.

Compatible Davis monitoring equipment required

To view transmitted sensor data, the station requires compatible Davis Instruments receiving equipment such as a wireless Vantage Pro2 console/receiver, Weather Envoy or WeatherLink. These receiving components are not included unless specifically stated otherwise.

Important: The 6345CS is not compatible with original Vantage Pro stations.

GLOBE protocol compatible

This station meets GLOBE protocol requirements, making it suitable for compatible educational, scientific and environmental observation applications.
