Allied Drop-In-Ready 48V 36Ah LiFePO4 golf cart batteries: compact 40 lb lithium modules that sit in your cart's existing battery tray and wire in parallel, so you choose how many to match your cart and how far you drive. Each battery stores 1,728 Wh in a 10.2 × 7 × 9.75 in IP67 steel case with M8 brass terminals and Bluetooth monitoring through the Allied Battery app. They install in the lead-acid tray with your factory hold-downs, replacing six 8V or four 12V lead-acid batteries. Packages of 2 or more include Allied's battery cutoff switch, which the warranty requires. Backed by Allied's 5-year prorated warranty.
Ratings from Allied's data sheet. Energy and output add up with each battery you wire in parallel.
🛺 Will It Fit My Cart?
Built for 48V golf carts. Allied lists:
- Club Car 48V carts
- EZGO 48V carts
- Yamaha 48V carts
- ICON & Advanced EV
- 48V lead-acid replacements
- Your cart runs on 48V. Allied makes Drop-In-Ready batteries for 36V, 48V and 72V carts.
- Each battery measures 10.2 × 7 × 9.75 in and weighs 40 lb. They sit in your lead-acid tray and use the factory hold-downs.
- Choose the number of batteries above (2 to 8). More batteries add range and share the load; see Allied's sizing guidance below.
- You'll need an Allied 48V lithium charger (sold separately). Allied's warranty doesn't cover batteries charged on other chargers, and lead-acid chargers can't be used.
- Batteries connect in parallel only. Never wire them in series.
- Your 12V lights or accessories need a 12V converter once the lead-acid set is gone.
- It has no heater. Allied rates charging from 32 to 131°F.
Why Cart Owners Choose Drop-In-Ready

Bluetooth Monitoring
The Allied Battery app shows voltages, current draw, temperature, remaining run and charge time, and lifetime cycles.
Lighter to Handle
Each battery weighs 40 lb, so they're easy to lift in and out, and far lighter than the lead-acid set they replace.
Zero Routine Maintenance
No watering, no acid and no corroded terminals. Charge after use and keep driving.
Built Tough
Steel cases rated IP67, M8 brass terminals and a BMS that guards against over-current, over- and under-voltage and temperature extremes.

🔌 Charging Made Simple
Allied Charger Required
Use Allied's 48V 15A waterproof lithium charger with an OEM or snap harness for your cart. It's sold separately.
No Lead-Acid Chargers
Your old charger won't charge these batteries correctly, and Allied's warranty doesn't cover batteries charged on non-Allied chargers.
Charge Above Freezing
Allied rates charging from 32 to 131°F and discharging from 15 to 140°F. There's no heater, so let cold batteries warm up first.
Charge Ratings
Allied rates each battery for 7.5–30A of charge current at 40–59.2V.
🛡️ 5-Year Allied Warranty
Coverage is void if the batteries are charged on a non-Allied charger or run without Allied's cutoff switch, and they must be wired in parallel, never in series. Contact us first and we'll help you start a claim with Allied. Full terms are on Allied's warranty page.
