Allied Drop-In-Ready 36V 48Ah LiFePO4 golf cart batteries: compact 35 lb lithium modules that sit in your cart's existing battery tray and wire in parallel, so you choose how many to match your cart and how far you drive. Each battery stores 1,728 Wh in a 10.2 Γ— 7 Γ— 9.75 in IP67 steel case with M8 brass terminals and Bluetooth monitoring through the Allied Battery app. They install in the lead-acid tray with your factory hold-downs, replacing six 6V or three 12V lead-acid batteries. Packages of 2 or more include Allied's battery cutoff switch, which the warranty requires. Backed by Allied's 5-year prorated warranty.

πŸ›Ί Will It Fit My Cart?

Built for 36V golf carts. Allied lists:

  • EZGO TXT (36V)
  • Club Car 36V carts
  • Yamaha 36V carts
  • 36V lead-acid replacements
πŸ“ Quick check before you order:
  • Your cart runs on 36V. Allied makes Drop-In-Ready batteries for 36V, 48V and 72V carts.
  • Each battery measures 10.2 Γ— 7 Γ— 9.75 in and weighs 35 lb. They sit in your lead-acid tray and use the factory hold-downs.
  • Choose the number of batteries above (2 to 6). More batteries add range and share the load; see Allied's sizing guidance below.
  • You'll need an Allied 36V lithium charger (sold separately). Allied's warranty doesn't cover batteries charged on other chargers, and lead-acid chargers can't be used.
  • Batteries connect in parallel only. Never wire them in series.
  • Your 12V lights or accessories need a 12V converter once the lead-acid set is gone.
  • It has no heater. Allied rates charging from 32 to 131Β°F.
Not sure? Send us your cart's make, model, year and controller size, and we'll confirm the fit and battery count before you buy.

Why Cart Owners Choose Drop-In-Ready

🧩

Drops Into Your Tray

Modules sized like lead-acid batteries sit in your existing tray with the factory hold-downs. No custom brackets.

πŸ“ˆ

Scale Your Range

Start with 2 to 6 batteries, and add matching batteries within a year of purchase if you want more range.

πŸ“±

Bluetooth Monitoring

The Allied Battery app shows voltages, current draw, temperature, remaining run and charge time, and lifetime cycles.

βš–οΈ

Lighter to Handle

Each battery weighs 35 lb, so they're easy to lift in and out, and far lighter than the lead-acid set they replace.

🧰

Zero Routine Maintenance

No watering, no acid and no corroded terminals. Charge after use and keep driving.

πŸ”©

Built Tough

Steel cases rated IP67, M8 brass terminals and a BMS that guards against over-current, over- and under-voltage and temperature extremes.

❓ Common Questions

How many batteries do I need?
It depends on your controller and how you drive. Allied's 36V sizing guide (linked above) matches packages to carts. Send us your cart details and we'll help you choose.
Is a charger included?
No. You'll need Allied's 36V 15A waterproof lithium charger with an OEM or snap harness for your cart. Allied's warranty requires it.
What's the cutoff switch for?
It disconnects the battery pack. Allied includes it with every package of 2 or more batteries, and the warranty requires it. Buying a single battery? Add the Allied cutoff switch.
Can I add batteries later?
Yes. Allied allows adding matching batteries within 1 year of purchase. Choose the single-battery option, and make sure all batteries in the cart are the same model.
Can I wire them in series?
No. Drop-In-Ready batteries connect in parallel only.
How do I power 12V lights and accessories?
Add Allied's 36V-to-12V converter. With the lead-acid set gone, there's no single 12V battery to tap.
Drop-In-Ready or RS kit?
Drop-In-Ready uses several compact batteries in your existing tray, and you choose how many. Allied's RS kits use one large battery with a charger and brackets included.
How do I register the warranty?
Register with Allied within 30 days of purchase. We're happy to help.
