The Actisense PRO-NDC-1E2K is a rugged, RINA type approved NMEA 0183 multiplexer with built-in NMEA 2000 connectivity, Ethernet data streaming, flexible configuration, auto-switching, and sentence-level filtering. Its type approval makes it suitable for leisure, commercial, and class/type-approved vessel installations, and its stainless steel housing adds durability.

A multiplexer combines data from multiple instruments into fewer outputs. Since two NMEA 0183 talkers can't connect directly to one listener, the PRO-NDC-1E2K merges their data into a single output. For example, a commercial vessel with separate NMEA 0183 GPS, wind, AIS, and depth instruments can combine all of that data and send it to one NMEA 0183 display. When the data is needed on an NMEA 2000 network, the built-in conversion matrix translates it and outputs it onto the N2K backbone, with bi-directional conversion for seamless integration between legacy and newer equipment.

Data can be filtered, passed, blocked, and monitored for full control over every instrument's output. The PRO-NDC-1E2K also streams NMEA 0183 and NMEA 2000 data over Ethernet, sharing vessel data with existing Ethernet systems, connected applications, and third-party devices. Configuration is handled through a web-based interface in any standard browser, with no software to install or text strings to edit by hand.
