  • Your system is 12V (or 24V/48V with up to 4 in series).
  • Your loads stay within 100 A continuous (about 1,280 W at 12.8 V). Add batteries in parallel for more.
  • Your charger, solar controller or alternator has a lithium (LiFePO4) setting. Charge at 13.8–14.6 V.
  • It has no heater. Don't charge it below 32Β°F (0Β°C); choose a heated SOK for cold spaces.
  • Space for 10.24 Γ— 6.69 Γ— 8.27 in, and the IP65 case handles damp or dusty spots.
  • Engine starting isn't covered by SOK's warranty, and inverters or chargers of 3,500 W or more need an approved surge limiter.
  • Need UL? SOK lists UL 1973 for the cells, not a UL listing for the battery. Call us if your inspector needs paperwork.

Can I use it in a 12V system with my current charger?
Yes, if the charger has a lithium (LiFePO4) setting. Charge at 13.8–14.6 V. Lead-acid equalize or desulfation modes shouldn't be used.
Can I charge it below freezing?
No. It has no heater, and LiFePO4 cells shouldn't be charged below 32Β°F (0Β°C). For cold spaces, choose a heated SOK model.
Can I connect batteries in series or parallel?
Up to 4 in series, 10 in parallel. Use identical batteries at the same state of charge.
Can the battery be repaired?
SOK calls it a serviceable design. Contact SOK or us before opening it, because SOK's warranty excludes opened or modified batteries.
Can I use it to start an engine?
No. SOK's warranty excludes engine starting. Use it as a house or deep-cycle battery.
How does the warranty work?
