Swap a heavy 48V lead-acid set for one 66 lb lithium battery. The Epoch 48V 65Ah LiFePO4 Golf Cart Kit replaces the lead-acid pack in a typical 48V cart with a single sealed battery storing 3.33kWh. The kit comes with a 48V 10A lithium charger, a Bluetooth dash gauge, a fused 48V-to-12V converter and the charge port plug and mounting brackets for your cart, in Club Car Precedent, EZGO RXV, EZGO TXT, Yamaha 2007-2010, Yamaha 2011+ and Other versions.

📏 Quick check before you order:

Your cart runs on 48V. This kit is not for 36V carts.
Your battery bay fits 17.20" L × 14.33" W × 7.48" H (437 × 364 × 190 mm), plus room for terminals and cables. The battery weighs 66 lb (30 kg) and mounts upright.
Your controller's draw stays within 200A continuous (300A for 15 sec, 700A for 2 sec). Carts with high-amp controllers, big motor upgrades, oversized tires or steep hills may need a larger kit.
Club Car Precedent: some model years need an OBC (On-Board Computer) bypass so the Epoch charger can charge the battery. Confirm the procedure for your year.
Your 12V accessories (lights, radio, USB) total 25A or less on the included converter.
The 6 ft switch harness reaches your dash. Stretched carts may need the 13 ft harness (sold separately).
Fitment isn't universal. Epoch recommends checking bay size, terminal clearance, cable routing, charge port wiring and controller demand for your model year.

❓ Common Questions

Which version should I pick?

Pick the version that matches your cart: Club Car Precedent, EZGO RXV, EZGO TXT, Yamaha 2007–2010 or Yamaha 2011+. Pick Other for ICON and other compatible 48V carts. The difference is the charge port plug and mounting brackets, which are matched to each cart. Not sure? Send us your cart's make, model and year.

Is this the 105Ah MINI?

No. The 65Ah is a separate battery, 17.20" × 14.33" × 7.48" and 66 lb, storing 3.33kWh. If you want more range, ask us about the 48V 105Ah MINI kit.

Does my Club Car Precedent need anything extra?

Some Precedent model years need an OBC (On-Board Computer) bypass so the Epoch charger can charge the battery. Confirm the procedure for your year, or call us and we'll help you check.

Can I keep using my old lead-acid charger?

No, unless it's confirmed for LiFePO4 and programmed within Epoch's limits, with equalization and desulfation off. Use the included 48V 10A lithium charger.

How far will I go on a charge?

Epoch estimates about 25 to 35 miles for stock or mildly upgraded 48V carts. Hills, passengers, larger tires, lift kits, controller settings and accessories will lower that.

Will it make my cart faster?

Top speed is set by your motor, controller, tires and settings, not the battery. You'll notice quicker acceleration and better hill response from the lighter weight and steady voltage.

Is it enough for a modified cart?

Carts with high-amp controllers, large motor upgrades, oversized tires or steady steep-hill use may need a larger kit. Tell us about your setup and we'll help you size it.

Can I install it myself?

Epoch specifies installation by an authorized mechanic or technician. You'll replace the factory charge receptacle with the included plug and add a main fuse or DC-rated breaker (not included). Call us if you have questions about your cart.

Will my 12V lights and radio still work?

Yes. The included fused 25A 48V-to-12V converter powers them and turns on with the key. Keep your total 12V load within 25A.

Can I charge it in the winter?

Not below freezing. Charging is rated 0°C to 55°C (32°F to 131°F), and there's no internal heater. Let the battery warm above freezing before plugging in.

The battery shut off on its own. What happened?

To protect itself, the battery powers down after 7 days without use above 20% charge, or 24 hours at or below 20%. Press the on/off switch twice to wake it.

How should I store it over the off-season?

Charge to 60–90%, turn the battery off, store it between 50°F and 95°F, and check the charge at least every 3 months. Leaving it uncharged for more than 3 months isn't covered by the warranty.

Can I add a second battery for more range?

Yes. Up to two matched batteries in parallel (130Ah / 6.66 kWh), same model, age and firmware, at the same charge level. Series connection isn't supported.
