Victron Energy Lithium SuperPack NG 12.8V/100Ah (BAT512110740): a 12V 100Ah LiFePO4 battery with 1,280 Wh of energy, a built-in BMS, Bluetooth and self-heating for cold-weather charging. The SuperPack NG is Victron's all-in-one lithium battery: the BMS, cell balancing, protection and heater are built in, so it works on its own with any suitable charger. It delivers up to 200 A continuous (50 A recommended) and accepts up to 100 A of charge. Below 0Β°C charging pauses while the internal heater warms the cells, then resumes automatically. Check state of charge, current and temperature in the free VictronConnect app or at a glance with Instant Readout. Its footprint is compatible with BCI Group 49 battery dimensions.   • Your system is 12V. Add capacity by wiring SuperPacks in parallel (no limit). Series wiring isn't allowed.
  • Your charger can be set to 14.0 V charge and 13.5 V float (range 13.5–14.2 V), with equalization and reconditioning turned off.
  • Your loads stay within 200 A continuous; Victron recommends 50 A for best life.
  • Plan for a Class T or MRBF fuse on the positive cable (at least 10 kA interrupt rating) and cables sized for your loads.
  • Mount it upright or on its long side, never upside down, away from direct sun. It's IP65 but not for immersion.
  • Need a UL-listed battery? The cells are UL 1973 and UL 9540A certified; Victron lists battery-level IEC 62619 as pending. Call us if your inspector needs more.

❓ Common Questions

Do I need a separate BMS?
No. The SuperPack NG has its BMS built in. You can use it with any charger that can be set to LiFePO4 voltages.
Can I wire SuperPacks in series for 24V or 48V?
No. Victron doesn't allow series connection. For a higher-voltage system, choose the matching SuperPack voltage, like the 25.6V/100Ah model, and add capacity in parallel.
Can it charge below freezing?
Yes, with its built-in heater. Below 0Β°C charging pauses while the heater warms the cells, then resumes. By default the charger powers the heater; an anti-freeze mode can use the battery's own energy.
What charger settings should I use?
14.0 V charge, 13.5 V float, temperature compensation off, and no equalization or reconditioning. Victron chargers have a LiFePO4 preset you can fine-tune in VictronConnect.
How do I store it?
Charge it above 50%, then switch it off with the button (not the app) for up to six months of storage. Store between 10 and 35Β°C when possible.
Is it UL listed?
The cells are certified to UL 1973 and UL 9540A. Victron lists battery-level IEC 62619 as pending and doesn't publish a battery-level UL listing. Call us if your inspector needs specific paperwork.
How does the warranty work?
Victron covers lithium batteries for 3 years from the original end user's purchase date, with proof of correct use. Warranty claims go through the place of purchase, so contact us and we'll handle it with Victron.
