RUiXU 48V self-heating server rack battery kit with a pre-assembled 6-slot cabinet, 15kWh to 30kWh: 3 to 6 RUiXU RX-LFP48100-H 5.12kWh LiFePO4 batteries in a steel cabinet with covered busbars, plus the cables to link them. Choose the size you need: 15 kWh (3 batteries), 20 kWh (4 batteries), 25 kWh (5 batteries) or 30 kWh (6 batteries). Each battery stores 5.12 kWh (4.92 kWh usable) with 6,000+ cycles at 90% depth of discharge, and the bank talks to your inverter over CAN or RS485 in closed loop. Every battery has a built-in 480 W heater that warms the cells with charger power at 41°F (5°C) and below. The cabinet arrives pre-assembled with covered busbars, a lockable door and casters, and holds up to six batteries. Certified to UL 1973 and tested to UL 9540A. Backed by RUiXU's 10-year limited warranty.

📏 Quick check before you order:
  • Your inverter is 48V and on RUiXU's list (CAN: Victron, SMA, Sol-Ark, Growatt, Deye, Schneider and more; RS485: Voltronic, MPP, Sunsynk and more).
  • You'll install it indoors. The batteries are IP20, so the kit isn't for outdoor or wet locations. The heaters help in cold indoor spaces like garages.
  • You have floor space for the cabinet: about 23.6 in wide, 29.5 in deep and 42.3 in tall on its casters (per RUiXU).
  • Your floor can take the weight: each battery is 103.6 lb, so a full 6-battery cabinet holds about 622 lb of batteries plus the cabinet.
  • You'll add battery-to-inverter cables, a DC breaker or fuse, and an inverter communication cable.
  • Need UL 9540? RUiXU lists UL 1973 and UL 9540A, not UL 9540. Check with your inspector, and call us if you need paperwork.

Will it work with my inverter?
It's built for closed-loop communication. Over CAN it supports Victron, SMA, Studer, Sofar, Sol-Ark, Solis, GoodWe, Deye, Growatt, SAJ, LuxPower and Schneider; over RS485 it supports Voltronic, MPP, RCT, Alpha, OutBack, Megarevo, INVT, Sermatec, TBB, MUST and Sunsynk. Set the protocol with the DIP switch on the master battery. Tell us your inverter and we'll confirm.
How does the self-heating work?
When the battery is at 5°C (41°F) or colder and a charger is connected, a 480 W heater uses charger power to warm the cells, then switches off at 12°C (53.6°F). It's meant for cold garages and sheds, not outdoor installs.
Does it have a screen or Bluetooth app?
No. Lights on the front show status and state of charge, and RUiXU's RuiXUTool PC software shows full data over an RS485 cable. With closed-loop communication, many inverters also show battery data on their own display or app.
Can I install it outdoors?
No. The battery is IP20 and rated for indoor installation only, in a dry, ventilated space.
Is it UL 9540 listed?
RUiXU lists UL 1973 (battery) and UL 9540A (fire test), not a UL 9540 system listing. Some inspectors require UL 9540 for the full system, so check with your local authority. Call us if you need paperwork.
Can I add batteries later?
Yes. Up to 32 batteries can run in parallel without an external controller. Set one battery as master and the rest as slaves. A 6-slot cabinet holds six batteries, so plan a second cabinet past 30 kWh.
How does the warranty work?
RUiXU covers it for 10 years from the date of sale with proof of purchase. Warranty claims go through the place of purchase, so contact us and we'll handle it with RUiXU.
