RUiXU RX-12K 12kW 48V split-phase hybrid solar inverter: 11.4 kW of 120/240V output, 17.1 kW of solar input on four MPPTs, a built-in 200 A transfer relay and a generator input, in a NEMA 4X outdoor-rated enclosure. The RX-12K runs your home from solar and a 48V battery, backs it up when the grid goes down, and can sell or limit power to the grid. It's certified by Intertek to UL 1741 with Supplement SB and IEEE 1547, has built-in arc-fault protection and rapid shutdown, and supports AC coupling through its generator port. Paired with RUiXU's Lithi2-16 battery, it's part of a UL 9540 certified energy storage system. Monitor and set it up with the Elekeeper app over Wi-Fi or Bluetooth. Backed by RUiXU's 10-year warranty.

  • Your battery bank is 48V (40–60V), LiFePO4 or lead-acid. RUiXU says to check with its tech support before using non-RUiXU batteries.
  • Your home is 120/240V split-phase (or 120/208V, rated 9,880 W), with loads within 11.4 kW continuous and a 17,100 W surge for 10 seconds.
  • Each solar string stays under 600V and 16 A per MPPT (four MPPTs, one string each), up to 17,100 W total.
  • Your main panel works with a 200 A integrated transfer relay, and your utility allows UL 1741 SB / IEEE 1547 inverters (check interconnection rules).
  • You can mount about 110 lb on the wall, indoors or outdoors (NEMA 4X / IP65).
  • Arc-fault: RUiXU claims UL 1699B, but it isn't on the Intertek certificate RUiXU posts. Ask your inspector if they need separate AFCI paperwork.

Can it sell power back to the grid?
Yes. It's certified to UL 1741 SB and IEEE 1547, and you can set an export limit up to 11.4 kW or zero export. Your utility has to approve the interconnection.
Does it work without the grid?
Yes. It runs off-grid or as backup, switching your loads through its built-in 200 A transfer relay, and it has a generator input.
Which batteries work with it?
48V LiFePO4 or lead-acid. It talks to RUiXU batteries over CAN, and the RX-12K with the Lithi2-16 is a UL 9540 certified system. RUiXU asks you to check with its tech support before using other brands.
Can I add it to an existing solar system?
Yes. It supports AC coupling on the generator port, up to 11.4 kW.
Can I install it outside?
