🔧 Will It Work With Your Battery?

A 48V LiFePO4 charger with ring-terminal output. Epoch lists it for:

  • 48V golf cart batteries
  • 48V RV battery banks
  • 48V marine systems
  • Off-grid & solar storage

📏 Quick check before you order:
  • Your battery is 48V LiFePO4. It is not for lead-acid, AGM, gel or SLA batteries, or for 12V, 24V or 36V batteries.
  • You'll connect to the battery terminals with ring terminals. This charger doesn't come with a golf cart charge-port plug.
  • Own an Epoch Big Box golf cart battery? Those use a special connector. Ask us about the Big Box version of this charger (EP-4815C).
  • Your battery can accept a 15A charge. Check your battery's BMS limits and the maker's requirements.
  • You have a standard 120V AC outlet or a properly rated extension cord.

Why Use a Lithium-Specific Charger

🔋

Correct 48V LiFePO4 Profile

Programmed for 48V lithium iron phosphate batteries, with auto shut-off when the battery is full.

⚡

15A Charging

About 7 hours for a fully depleted 48V 105Ah battery, plus a little taper time.

🔌

Plug-and-Play 120V

Ready to use out of the box on a standard household outlet. No 240V circuit needed.

💧

IP67 & Shock-Resistant

Sealed against water and dust, protected against temporary immersion up to 1 m for 30 minutes, and built for off-road, RV and marine use.

🛡️

Seven Protections

Overtemperature, ambient temperature, reverse polarity, overcharge, output overvoltage, output overcurrent and output short-circuit.

🌡️

Aluminum Heatsink Housing

The aluminum alloy case doubles as a heatsink, rated from -40°C to 60°C (-40°F to 140°F).

⏱️ How Long Does a Charge Take?

Battery Approx. time from empty
48V 65Ah LiFePO4 About 4.3 hours
48V 105Ah LiFePO4 About 7 hours (Epoch's estimate)
48V 150Ah LiFePO4 About 10 hours
Other sizes Battery Ah ÷ 15 = hours

Estimates from a fully depleted battery using Epoch's Ah ÷ 15 method, plus a little taper time. A battery that isn't empty finishes sooner.

🔌 Charging Made Simple

🔗

Ring Terminal Connection

Attach the ring terminals to your battery's terminals, positive to positive and negative to negative. Reverse polarity protection stops a normal charge from starting if they're backward.

🔌

Plug Into 120V AC

Use a standard household outlet or a properly rated extension cord. Keep the AC plug and outlet dry.

⛳

Mount It On the Cart or Boat

The IP67 housing, shock resistance and ring leads let you mount it permanently. Follow Epoch's installation guidance.

🌙

Overnight Charging

It has overcharge protection and shuts off when full, so overnight charging is fine. Charge in a suitable location.
