Do I need this with an Allied RS kit?

Usually not, since RS kits come with installation cables. This pack is most useful when wiring a set of Drop-In-Ready batteries or replacing cables.

Which gauge should I choose?

The 4 gauge pack is the heavier cable. If you're unsure, send us your battery set and cart and we'll recommend one.
